Exhibitions in Morioka & Tokyo

Two of my friends have their solo exhibitions in Morioka & Tokyo.
友人ふたりが近々盛岡と東京で個展を行います。

The exhibition " Like a Buisiness " by Aki Oyanagi starts on the 1st of November at Cyg art gallery in Morioka, Iwate, ends on 21 Nov. She creates original handmade bags & pillows by mixed materials like collage. Very interesting. Some drawings will be displayed at the exhibit, too.

青森出身で仙台在住のアーティスト・大柳暁さんの展示 Like A Buisinessが11月1日から21日まで、盛岡のギャラリーCygで行われます。様々な素材を組み合わせたコラージュのようなかわいらしいバッグやクッション、独創的なドローイングが展示される予定とか。楽しみ！

会うといつも自作のかわいいポシェットを身につけている暁ちゃん。あれらがたくさん展示されている空間を想像するだけで、楽しい気分になります。私も会期中行く予定。

Another exhibition is called " Ishinomaki sunlight " by an Australian artist Richard Byers opens 24th Oct in Tokyo, at Gallery éf. Lots of beautiful photographs of Ishinomaki you'll see at the exhibit. Also set of postcards are available on his website. You can buy it from here. 　

もうひとつはオーストラリア人アーティストのリチャード・バイヤーズによる写真展「石巻 SUNLIGHT」明日、10月24日から11月25日まで浅草のギャラリーエフにて行われます。今年の3月からの５ヶ月間、石巻に滞在しその間撮影した写真を展示。あの地で生まれ育った私ですら、見たことのなかった我が故郷の姿が写っています。
