Weekend in Morioka

Spent a weekend in Morioka last week --you may think "Again!?", yes again. I don't know how many times I've been to Morioka. This time I was with two friends and took them to my favourite places.

Soon after we arrived, stopped by a soba restaurant for lunch. This place is getting so popular, we had to que to get a table. You know why it's popular if you see the photo above. 

気の合う友人たちと盛岡へ週末旅行へ行って参りました。このメンバーでは去年夏にも行ったのですが、今年も前回以上に楽しく、思い出に残る旅となりました。記録に残したいので忘れないうちに書きます！

到着し、最初に向かったのは大好きな蕎麦屋さん。最近は本当に人気で並ぶのが当たり前になってしまい、少し足が遠のいておりましたが、今回は友人たちを連れて行きたくて、久々に足を運びました。満席だったものの、並んでる人はおらず、すぐ入ることができました(しかし私達の後ろにはすぐ長い列が…) 。ここの蕎麦は三種あって、天ぷらも とても美味しい。3人で食べて会計はなんと約1800円！人気なのもナットク。

It's hard not to buy any vegetables or fruits in morioka. There are many places, even in the city centre, you can easily get local products and they are so fresh and reasonable! Look at those different kinds of apples at the market. 

いまの時期の盛岡はどこでも、リンゴ！リンゴ！リンゴ！こんなにたくさんの種類が？と驚くくらいの数が。そして安い！地元産の野菜や果物を手軽に買えるお店が、まだまだ中心部にもちょこちょこあって、何も買わないつもりでも買ってしまうほど。

The weather was great, so we walked a lot during the day. Good weather makes everything different!!

とーっても天気が良かったので、街歩きがとにかく楽しかった。

Time capsule

A friend of mine gave me her old Time Capsule! It still looks good and working well. I'm so happy to have it ( for free...! )

And the orange mug is another "new" in my place, which is from Hasami ceramics. I really like this colour but I heard that the orange is now discontinued! Apparently my favourite colour was unpopular :( 

以前から気になっていたけれど、ひとつも持っていなかったのが、波佐見焼のマルヒロのHASAMIシリーズ。特にブロックマグは形も好きで、お店で見かけるたび手にとっては眺めていました。色々な色があるけれど、そのうち欲しい色が出たら…と思っていたところにオレンジが出て、いいなあ、買うならオレンジだな、いつか………と思っていたら、何と！早くも廃盤との情報が！

と、言うわけで買ってしまいました。ブロックマグのオレンジ。お気に入りでございます。オレンジと入れ替わりにでた新色の黄色も好きな色合いで…購買意欲をそそられておりますが、とりあえずオレンジで我慢！

マグの下にあるのは、友人のお下がりのタイムカプセル。新しいのを買ったから、古いのあげる、と無料で…ありがたいわ〜！

cooler days autumn

It's Autumn! Do you know how many days until Christmas? ..... well, let's not think about it :p A friend of mine said that Autumn is depressing.. do you agree? yeah, it could be, but I mostly enjoy Autumn days. The days get shorter and nights get longer. I enjoy staying at home in the evenings and doing things like writing and reading. 

I'm thinking about moving this blog to a new server, and the new blog will be written only in Japanese. I don't know if I close this blog or keep it. Need to think. 

いつのまにかすっかり秋！久々の更新です。定期的に覗いてくれている2名の読者の方々！すみませんでした。いま、このブログをクローズして新しく日本語だけのブログを始めようか考え中です。日々の思いをただつらつらと綴るような、日記のような… 検討中！

最近もう一つ考えているのは、体のメンテナンスのこと。取り立てて不健康な生活はしていないけれど、かと言って大して体のことを考えていなかった今までの私。そろそろ少し考えて、食べたり飲んだり、動いたりしなくてはいけない時が来たのかも。まだどこも不具合は起きてませんが、最近あちこちから聞こえてくる悲しいニュースに、色々考えさせられました。

と、言うわけで上の写真は、最近週末だけ飲むようにしているビール。少し高めだけど、本当に美味しいビールを1本だけ、味わって飲んでます……いつまで続くかな？笑
