crumpet breakfast

ある日の朝ご飯。バターたっぷりのクランペットに蜂蜜。イギリスで買ってきて冷凍していたクランペットの在庫もこれでおしまい。また来年食べられるかな〜？！
最新号のてくりが面白いです。そろそろ久々に盛岡に行きたいな。

Sakura
Needles to say, Sakura is so beautiful.
仙台でもやっと桜が咲きました。実はあまり桜には興味がなかった私ですが、震災後は桜の存在がとてもありがたく思えるようになってきました。今年もこの花を無事見る事ができ、本当にありたがい思いです。

I'm here in my hometown, visiting my favourite cafe for a morning coffee. Such a pleasure to be here - tasty ( reasonable priced) coffee, friendly people and nice atmosphere.

Spring day in Yamagata
Spent a day in Yamagata with a friend a few weeks ago. It was a bit windy but warm enough to enjoy walking.
久々に山形へ行ってきました。冬の間は、行きたくてもやはりなかなか行けず、久々の訪問。まだまだ風は冷たかったものの、春を感じる一日でした。
今回は山形へ行くのがほぼ初めてだという友人と一緒に。私なりの好きな場所を案内。楽しんでもらえたようで、本当によかった。
まなび館の穀雨カフェ。大好きだったな。閉店がものすごく残念でなりません。

Fresh apple juice gave us more energy to continue walking!
写真はありませんが、お昼には山形ではおきまりの蕎麦を食べ、さらに市内をぶらり。山形市内には、いわゆる甘味処があちこちにあります。チェーン店のカフェに負けないくらい。今回は裏通りにあるお店で休憩。私は白玉ぜんざいを。作りたてでおいしい。
In the afternoon, we wanted to have something sweet... so went to a Japanese cafe for tea & sweet.

English breakfast
It's been a while since my last update. How are you? Spring is definitely around the corner, even though it snowed a little last weekend.
My breakfast is a bit boring these days. Mostly cereals or a piece of toast. The other day I had an English breakfast - egg, toast, beans, bacon and tomatoes. It was okay but I kept thinking the proper English breakfast I had in the UK.
前回から少し日が空いてしまいました。忙しくはないのですが、気ぜわしい日々が続いています。
先日久々にイギリス風の朝ご飯が食べたくなって、作ってみました。ベイクドビーンズ、目玉焼き、焼きトマト、ベーコン、トースト。何か足りない感じもするけれど、私には十分。
