Shungiku breakfast

Morning view. Sliced avocado on sesame bagel, shungiku and apple salad and earl grey tea. 

I like Shungiku - a bit bitter, but tasty. Not sure if it is eaten in any other country. Maybe only in Asia? I just googled its name in English and found out that it's called crown daisy. 

Kids usually don't like shungiku because of its bitter taste but they used to it as they get older.. 

ある日の朝ご飯。アボカドをごまベーグルにのせたもの。春菊とりんごのサラダ、アールグレイティー。春菊は大人になるにつれ、大好きになった野菜のひとつ。小さい頃はこの苦味が苦手で！

なのに、今はこういう苦味のある野菜が大好きに。特に春菊は、生でも大好きだし、パスタと合わせるのも好き。味覚とは変わるもんですねぇ。
