Samiro

This is one of my favourite books - Katazome ( stencil dyeing ) artworks by Samiro Yunoki. Aren't they lovely? I think he should be more popular! All the colours and patterns look delightful. I sometimes open this book and get inspired.

だいぶ前に日本民芸館で買った、柚木沙弥郎さんの型染めポスター作品集。眺めるだけで楽しくなる大好きな一冊です。たまに雑誌等でお元気そうな姿を拝見するたび、こちらも元気づけられます。いくつになっても新しいものに興味を持ち、挑戦していく沙弥郎さん、本当にすてきな方！
