Pelican bread

I was in Tokyo a few weeks ago. Mainly I met up with friends, had nice meals and visited some coffee places during my stay. I'll write about my tokyo trip story soon. Before that, I post a photo of my favourite bread from pelican bakery, asakusa. 

It's a very popular bakery. They only sell few kinds of bread and most of bread are reserved. So, you got to be lucky to get one if you don't have a reservation.

今回滞在が平日だったこともあり、土日祝日に休みなところ、混むところをメインに訪ねてきました。そのうちのひとつが以前から気になっていた、浅草の老舗パン屋のペリカン。予約なしでも買えることも多いようですが、確実に手に入れたかったので、事前に予約しました。1.5斤の食パンとロールパンの小。

I made a reservation for the pelican bread, so I finally could taste the delicious bread! 

そしてやっと食べることができた、念願のペリカンのロールパン。美味しかった。余計なものの味がしない、シンプルで、そして粉の味がしっかりする、引きの強いパン。そのうちお取り寄せしようかな…手間がかかっても食べたいと思わせるパンでした。
